"psychedelic ensemble. takes a nap while watching a B-movie. As he is asleep, he gets confronted by his insecurities, torments, hopes and dreams..."
The cover art is an excerpt from a drawing by Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz, whose narrative was the main inspiration for this album. If you like what you hear definitely check out his books. They're even more chaotic and all over the place.
When it comes to musical influences, for this particular project I would have to reveal The Roots and the "...And Then You Shoot Your Cousin" album. I found their random fusion of experimental/avant garde/free jazz/classical music with hip hop very original, and tried to do the same here. Matter of fact, if you listen to "Hell" and "The Dark" back to back, you might start wondering where "influence" ends and "ripping off" begins...
Special thank you goes out to Alix for delivering the vocals for two tracks. Her brother also gets a shout out, since his groaning, grunting and growling can be heard on two tracks. The recordings were made in his flat. He is now on good terms with his flat mates.
As of 23rd May 2016, the album on Bandcamp is in remastered form. I won't be updating the project anywhere else.
